Job Description & Requirements 

Construction Manager – Singapore 

My client, a prominent and well-established construction company in Singapore, is currently looking to hire an experienced and driven Construction Manager to oversee large-scale building and infrastructure projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality developments across various sectors. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Report to the Project Director/Business Unit Head on construction progress, site operations, and strategic execution. 

• Co-develop and implement project start-up and execution plans, with defined targets for timeline, cost, quality, safety (EHS), and compliance. 

• Lead and manage daily on-site construction activities, ensuring optimal resource deployment and adherence to project timelines. 

• Handle procurement coordination, materials planning, and site logistics to ensure timely availability of resources. 

• Supervise subcontractor performance, manpower management, and work sequencing to maintain schedule and quality standards. 

• Liaise with consultants, clients, and authorities to address technical issues, EHS concerns, and contract matters. 

• Drive the use of innovative construction methodologies and precast to enhance productivity and cost-efficiency. 

• Conduct regular site audits, risk assessments, and reporting to track progress and uphold operational excellence. 

Requirements: 

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 

• 5–10 years of experience in site/project management, particularly on large-scale building or infrastructure projects. 

• Strong technical background with knowledge of construction sequencing, and precast technology. 

• Proactive, solutions-oriented, and confident in leading multi-disciplinary teams. 

• Experience working on residential, commercial, industrial, or institutional projects in Singapore. 

• Excellent stakeholder communication and strong understanding of local EHS and BCA compliance standards.
